A copper(II)-bound tripeptide complex [Cu2+·Gly-L-His-L-Lys] (CAS 89030-95-5) formed by complexation of the naturally occurring GHK tripeptide with copper. The copper chelate donates Cu2+ to tissues, modulating matrix metalloproteinase activity, upregulating collagen and decorin synthesis, and driving dermal-remodeling gene programs. Widely used in professional skincare for skin remodeling, hair-follicle stimulation, and wound-healing research. Distinct from the free-base ghk row (CAS 49557-75-7) in both chemistry and commercial positioning.
