Reported in Russian preclinical and small clinical studies to activate telomerase and induce telomere elongation in somatic cells, and to normalize pineal-hypothalamic hormone rhythms. Studied for effects on melatonin secretion, reproductive-axis regulation, and lifespan in aged rodents. Not FDA-approved.
